Welcome from Principal Scott Ferguson
“In obedience to Christ’s command to make disciples, at Hope Lutheran School we endeavor to help children know Jesus as their Savior, to serve God and one another in their daily living, and to fully develop and use the abilities God has given them.”
Thank you for expressing an interest in our school. Since 1960, Hope Lutheran Church has considered Hope Lutheran School as its main ministry to the community. At Hope, we see it as our ministry to develop the whole child. We develop their minds through an excellent education, their bodies through out extra-curricular sports teams, and most importantly their spirits though their daily instruction in God’s Word.
The elementary and junior high school years are an important and critical time for students. What happens during these years will have a lasting impression on their growth and development. As your tour of our campus, I’m sure that you will be able to feel the sense of warmth and community that we promote here at Hope. You will feel how we work to help students and families develop relationships with each other, the staff, and their Savior that last a lifetime.
Students will be challenged and will grow throughout their years here at Hope. We see it is a privilege to partner with you in this process. We do not take lightly that you are entrusting us with your most precious resource…your child.
Welcome from Preschool Director Ellen Head
“The preschool, as a ministry of Hope Lutheran Church, exists to serve the needs of children and families by providing God’s precious children with a safe, structured, experience-rich environment for exploring and learning about Jesus, themselves, others, and the world around them in an atmosphere of Christian love and acceptance.”
Hope Lutheran Preschool was established in 1991, and exists as a ministry of Hope Lutheran Church. Therefore, our learning activities and the way we work with your children are based on the saving love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your child is a precious creation of God. We are here to support your family as we nurture, love, teach and care for your unique child.
We provide a experience-rich environment where young children can grow and flourish. The children in our preschool program will be provided the opportunity to learn about Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross, and to learn about themselves and others in an atmosphere of Christian love and acceptance.
Hope Lutheran School is proud to be apart of the Pacific Southwest District which is comprised of 300 congregations and 168 Lutheran Schools in Southern California, Arizona, and Southern Nevada.
